25 Weeks!

We're now 25 weeks today! Here's what's going on developmentally with the twins:

Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13.5 inches. Her weight - about two pounds - isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair - and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

Yesterday we got our carseats! Kirby's grandparents in Denver got them for us, along with two extra bases so we can use the carseats in either one of our vehicles. This means pretty much all of the bigger items are out of the way, besides one high chair, and we still need to purchase their mattresses, but it feels really good getting all these baby items set up. We took pictures of the carseats in the Double Snap 'N Go, which is basically a stroller base that you can attach carseats to.
